Zhu Yangzhu
Zhu Yangzhu is a Chinese engineer, military academic, and taikonaut who flew on Shenzhou 16 and later commanded Shenzhou 23. His career shows the increasing role of technical specialists in China's station-era crews.

Bio
Zhu studied aerospace engineering and worked as a teacher and researcher at China's military engineering institutions before astronaut selection. He entered the third Chinese astronaut group as a spaceflight engineer rather than a traditional fighter-pilot recruit.
On Shenzhou 16 in 2023, Zhu flew with Jing Haipeng and Gui Haichao during the early utilization phase of Tiangong. The mission combined station operations, research work, public outreach, and handover responsibilities.
