Wang Haoze
Wang Haoze is a Chinese aerospace engineer and taikonaut who flew on Shenzhou 19, becoming China's third woman in space and its first woman spaceflight engineer. Her mission placed a propulsion specialist from China's industrial space sector inside regular Tiangong station operations.

Bio
Before astronaut selection, Wang studied at Southeast University and worked as a senior engineer in aerospace propulsion. That background gives her career a different emphasis from the earlier fighter-pilot path followed by many first-generation Chinese crew members.
Shenzhou 19 launched in October 2024 with Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang for a long-duration Tiangong . The crew supported science, maintenance, debris-protection work, and handover operations during a six-month stay.
Wang returned in April 2025 after more than 182 days in orbit. Her flight broadened China's astronaut corps by showing the growing role of engineering specialists, women crew members, and station-utilization work in the Shenzhou program.
