Tang Shengjie
Tang Shengjie is a Chinese pilot and People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps taikonaut who completed his first spaceflight on Shenzhou 17. At launch, he was one of the youngest Chinese astronauts to enter the Tiangong .

Bio
Tang was born in Dingxi, Gansu, and graduated from Air Force Aviation University. He served as a People's Liberation Army Air Force pilot, flew multiple aircraft types, and reached lieutenant colonel rank before spaceflight.
China selected Tang in the third astronaut group in 2020. He launched on Shenzhou 17 on October 26, 2023 with Tang Hongbo and Jiang Xinlin for a six-month Tiangong mission.
During Shenzhou 17, Tang Shengjie performed one with Tang Hongbo, lasting 7 hours and 25 minutes. His completed spaceflight record is one Shenzhou/Tiangong mission lasting 187 days, 6 hours, 32 minutes.
