Bio
Williams graduated from the United States Naval Academy, earned a graduate degree from Florida Institute of Technology, and became a Navy helicopter pilot and test pilot before NASA selected her in 1998.
Her flight record is counted by transport: STS-116 / STS-117 for 14 and 15, Soyuz TMA-05M for Expeditions 32 and 33, and Boeing Crew / SpaceX Crew-9 for Expeditions 71 and 72.
She commanded Expedition 33, became one of NASA's most experienced astronauts, and returned from the extended Starliner test-flight stay aboard Crew-9 on March 18, 2025.
