Song Lingdong
Song Lingdong is a Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Corps taikonaut and former air force pilot who completed his first spaceflight on Shenzhou 19. He belongs to China's third astronaut group, selected as China expanded from early Shenzhou flights into routine Tiangong space-station operations.

Bio
Song was born in Cao County, Shandong, and entered military aviation before astronaut selection. China's 2020 astronaut group included pilots, engineers, and , reflecting the more specialized crew needs of the Tiangong era.
He launched aboard Shenzhou 19 on October 29, 2024 with Cai Xuzhe and Wang Haoze, docked with the Tiangong , and returned on April 30, 2025. The mission lasted about six months and overlapped with the Shenzhou 20 crew handover.
Song participated in all three Shenzhou 19 with Cai Xuzhe, including a record-setting first EVA. His completed record is one long-duration Tiangong mission, three EVAs, and 182 days, 8 hours, 42 minutes in space.
