Sergey Vladimirovich Kud-Sverchkov
Sergey Vladimirovich Kud-Sverchkov is a Russian engineer and Roscosmos cosmonaut with one completed ISS mission and a second Soyuz mission in progress as of this update. He was born in Baikonur, giving his biography an unusual geographic link to the launch site that would later define his career.

Bio
Kud-Sverchkov studied at Bauman Moscow State Technical University and worked at RSC Energia before Roscosmos selected him in the 2010 cosmonaut group. His engineering background led into Soyuz systems work, Russian-segment station operations, and training.
His first flight was Soyuz MS-17 in 2020-2021 with Sergey Ryzhikov and Kathleen Rubins, during 63 and 64. He completed one Russian-segment EVA on that mission and returned after more than 185 days in space.
His second flight, Soyuz MS-28, launched on November 27, 2025, with Sergei Mikayev and Christopher Williams and was still in progress on July 6, 2026. Expedition labels for both flights are station context inside the two Soyuz mission cards.
