Richard Scott
Richard Scott is a reproductive endocrinologist, embryologist, professor, research scientist, pilot, and commercial spaceflight participant. He was a founding partner and chief executive of IVIRMA Global, an international fertility-care organization. Blue Origin also noted his academic appointments at Yale and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and his role founding the Foundation for Embryonic Competence.

Bio
Scott launched aboard New Shepard mission NS-30 from West Texas on February 25, 2025. The autonomous carried six people above the Kármán line during New Shepard's tenth human flight, then returned under parachutes while the reusable completed a powered landing.
Airplane-and-cloud imagery on the NS-30 patch represented Scott and the other pilots among the crew. His one completed suborbital mission added human-spaceflight experience to a career centered on clinical science, reproductive research, teaching, and patient advocacy.
