Pyotr Ilyich Klimuk
Pyotr Ilyich Klimuk is a retired Soviet cosmonaut, Air Force officer, and former head of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. He was the first Belarusian-born person to travel in space and completed three Soyuz missions.

Bio
Klimuk entered the Soviet Air Force after aviation school and was selected for cosmonaut training in 1965. His first mission, Soyuz 13, was a dedicated scientific flight carrying the Orion 2 rather than a station-docking mission.
He next flew Soyuz 18 to Salyut 4, spending more than two months aboard the station with Vitaly Sevastyanov. His final flight, Soyuz 30, was an Intercosmos mission with Polish cosmonaut Miroslaw Hermaszewski to Salyut 6. Salyut 4 and Salyut 6 are station assignments inside the Soyuz 18 and Soyuz 30 cards.
