Bio
Tyurin trained as an engineer and entered the Energia cosmonaut environment before assignment to the early ISS program. His first flight launched on STS-105 and returned on STS-108 as part of Expedition 3.
He later commanded Soyuz TMA-9 for Expeditions 14 and Soyuz TMA-11M for Expeditions 38 and 39. Across those missions he supported station assembly, research, maintenance, visiting-vehicle operations, and work.
His record needs the same station-era treatment the site now expects: three transport-based spaceflights, with Expedition service inside the mission cards instead of separate fake flight records.
