Bio
Barratt trained in zoology, medicine, internal medicine, and aerospace medicine before becoming a NASA flight surgeon. His pre-astronaut work helped shape medical operations for Shuttle-Mir and the International .
He first launched on Soyuz TMA-14 and served aboard the ISS during Expeditions 19 and 20. He later flew STS-133, and then returned to long-duration station work as pilot of SpaceX Crew-8 for Expeditions 70, 71, and 72.
