Michael J. Bloomfield
Michael John "Bloomer" Bloomfield is an American Air Force officer, test pilot, and retired NASA astronaut. Selected in NASA Astronaut Group 15 in 1994, he flew three shuttle missions across Shuttle-Mir and ISS assembly.

Bloomfield graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served as a test pilot before NASA. He piloted STS-86, a Shuttle-Mir docking mission, then commanded two ISS assembly missions.
