Angel launched aboard New Shepard mission NS-25 from Launch Site One in West Texas on May 19, 2024. The six-person crossed the Kármán line during New Shepard's seventh human flight, then returned under parachutes while the reusable performed its own powered landing.
The NS-25 used a sunrise to represent Angel's and crewmate Carol Schaller's interest in experiencing the overview effect. Outside his professional work, Blue Origin noted his skiing and hiking in the Rocky Mountains. NS-25 remains his one completed spaceflight.
