Liu Yang
Liu Yang is a Chinese military pilot and taikonaut who became the first Chinese woman in space. Her career also connects China's early Tiangong laboratory phase with the later multi-module Tiangong .

Bio
Liu served as a transport pilot in the People's Liberation Army Air Force before selection for China's second group of astronauts in 2010. Only two years later, she flew on Shenzhou 9, making history as China's first female space traveler.
Her second mission, Shenzhou 14, was much longer and more operationally complex. Liu Yang, Chen Dong, and Cai Xuzhe lived aboard Tiangong during the arrival and integration of the Wentian and Mengtian laboratory modules.
