Liu Boming
Liu Boming is a Chinese military pilot and taikonaut whose career spans China's first mission and the early occupation of the Tiangong . He belongs to the first generation of People's Liberation Army astronauts selected for Project 921.

Bio
Liu trained as an Air Force pilot before joining China's astronaut corps in 1998. His first flight was Shenzhou 7 in 2008, the mission on which Zhai Zhigang performed China's first spacewalk while Liu supported EVA operations from inside and at the orbital module hatch.
He returned to orbit on Shenzhou 12 in 2021 with Nie Haisheng and Tang Hongbo. That mission was the first crewed visit to the Tianhe core module and established the operational pattern for long-duration Tiangong station crews.
Liu performed EVAs during the Shenzhou 12 mission and helped outfit the new station.
