Bio
Li was born in Hebei Province and entered military aviation after selection into the People's Liberation Army Air Force aviation system. He served as a PLAAF pilot before being selected into China's third group of taikonauts in 2020.
Shenzhou 18 launched Li Cong with Ye Guangfu and Li Guangsu in April 2024. The crew carried out Tiangong science, station maintenance, cargo management, and exterior work to improve orbital-debris protection on the Chinese space station. The station stay explains the mission context but does not become a separate flight card.
