Leland Larson
Leland Larson is a former transportation executive, philanthropist, educator, and commercial spaceflight participant. He led the family-owned School Bus Services and Larson Transportation Services in Oregon. In 1997 he cofounded Larson Legacy, a foundation that supports nonprofit organizations in the United States and internationally.

Bio
Earlier in his career, Larson taught, counseled soldiers about education while serving in the Army, and participated as a delegate to Hawaii's 1968 constitutional convention. Blue Origin also described his interests in gardening, beekeeping, koi, chickens, and time spent with monks in the Tibetan mountains.
Larson launched aboard New Shepard mission NS-33 from West Texas on June 29, 2025. A school bus on the patch represented his family businesses. The autonomous crossed the Kármán line and returned under parachutes, completing his one recorded suborbital spaceflight.
