Bio
Barron graduated from the United States Naval Academy and studied nuclear engineering at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. Before NASA, she served as one of the first women assigned to the United States Navy submarine force.
NASA selected Barron with Astronaut Group 22 in 2017. Her first spaceflight was SpaceX Crew-3, which carried her to the International for Expeditions 66 and 67.
