Perry launched aboard New Shepard mission NS-31 from West Texas on April 14, 2025. The autonomous carried six women above the Kármán line during the program's eleventh human flight, then returned under parachutes while the reusable made a powered landing.
NS-31 was the first all-woman spaceflight since Valentina Tereshkova's solo Vostok 6 mission in 1963. A firework on the represented Perry's work in music, popular culture, and philanthropy. She said she hoped the flight would encourage her daughter and other people to pursue ambitions that once appeared unreachable.
