Sun ultimately flew on New Shepard mission NS-34 on August 3, 2025. The autonomous launched from West Texas with six people, crossed the Kármán line, and returned by parachute while the reusable made a powered landing. Blue Origin identified the flight as New Shepard's fourteenth human mission.
The NS-34 patch placed a sun at its center and included imagery connected to Sun's interest in conceptual art. The completed flight brought the four-year path from auction to launch to a close while linking his seat purchase to education-focused charitable grants.
