Jiang Xinlin

Bio
Born in Henan Province, Jiang entered the former PLA Army Armored Forces Academy and first served as a tank operator. After graduation he moved into air force pilot selection, became a PLAAF pilot, and accumulated the operational aviation background required for taikonaut selection.
Jiang was selected in China's third group of taikonauts and flew Shenzhou 17 to the Tiangong with Tang Hongbo and Tang Shengjie. His mission supported station operations, maintenance, science activity, and exterior work during China's maturing permanent-station era. That makes his record consistent with the transport-flight model used across ISS, Mir, Salyut, and Tiangong profiles.
