Bio
Moghbeli studied aerospace engineering and information technology at MIT, later completing graduate aerospace engineering work and test pilot training. Before NASA, she flew AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters and served as a Marine Corps test pilot.
NASA selected her with Astronaut Group 22 in 2017. She commanded SpaceX Crew-7 to the International and served during Expeditions 69 and 70.
During Expedition 70, Moghbeli performed an EVA with Loral O'Hara, adding spacewalk experience to her first mission.
