Jared Isaacman
Jared "Rook" Isaacman is an American entrepreneur, aviator, two-time commercial astronaut, and the 15th Administrator of NASA. He founded the payments company that became Shift4 as a teenager and later co-founded Draken International, an aerospace company that trained military pilots.

Bio
Isaacman has logged more than 8,000 hours in military and civilian aircraft. He commanded Inspiration4 in 2021, the first all-civilian orbital mission, and returned to orbit as of Polaris Dawn in 2024. That mission reached an altitude of about 1,400 kilometers, conducted scientific research and in-space communications tests, and carried out the first commercial .
During the Polaris Dawn extravehicular activity, Isaacman exited Crew Dragon's open hatch to evaluate the mission's spacesuit and mobility procedures. After leading both privately operated missions, he was nominated to lead NASA in November 2025, confirmed by the United States Senate on December 17, and sworn in as NASA Administrator on December 18, 2025.
