Bio
Wolfond has served organizations addressing health care, Jewish community affairs, and autism acceptance, including hospital-foundation and education boards in Ontario. His aviation background and public-service interests preceded his selection for New Shepard mission NS-28.
He launched from West Texas on November 22, 2024, crossing the Kármán line with five crewmates during New Shepard's ninth human flight. The returned under parachutes and the landed separately. A wolf visible in the capsule window on the NS-28 patch represented Wolfond and his one completed spaceflight.
