Erdem launched aboard New Shepard mission NS-34 from Launch Site One in West Texas on August 3, 2025. The autonomous carried six people above the Kármán line during the program's fourteenth human flight, then returned under parachutes while the reusable performed a powered landing.
The Bosphorus Strait on the NS-34 represented Erdem's Turkish heritage. His one completed suborbital spaceflight gave practical form to an interest that had previously been expressed through photography, business, and aspirations for longer-duration travel.
