Chris Hadfield
Chris Austin Hadfield is a retired Royal Canadian Air Force colonel, test pilot, CSA astronaut, author, musician, and the first Canadian of the International . His public reach made him one of the best-known astronauts of the ISS era.

Bio
Hadfield trained through the Royal Military College and became a Canadian fighter and test pilot before astronaut selection. He was selected by the Canadian Space Agency in 1992 and later worked closely with NASA and Roscosmos during shuttle, Mir, and ISS operations.
He flew STS-74 to Mir in 1995, STS-100 to the ISS in 2001, and Soyuz TMA-07M for 34/35 in 2012-2013. On STS-100 he became the first Canadian to perform a , helping install Canadarm2.
During Expedition 35, Hadfield commanded the ISS and became famous for clear educational communication from orbit.
