Carol Schaller
Carol Schaller is a retired certified public accountant, traveler, and commercial spaceflight participant. After being told in 2017 that she would probably lose her sight, she accelerated a program of difficult journeys. Blue Origin reported that she traveled to 25 countries, reached Mount Everest Base Camp, visited mountain gorillas in Uganda, traveled to the South Pole, and camped on the Antarctic plain in temperatures around minus 20 degrees.

Schaller launched aboard New Shepard mission NS-25 from West Texas on May 19, 2024. The carried six people above the Kármán line during the program's seventh human flight, then returned by parachute while the reusable landed separately.
A sunrise on the represented Schaller's and Mason Angel's interest in the overview effect, while mountains reflected her trekking. The flight fulfilled her ambition to see Earth's atmosphere against the darkness of space.
