Anna Menon
Anna W. Menon is an American biomedical engineer, mission-control specialist, commercial astronaut, and member of NASA's 2025 astronaut-candidate class. She earned bachelor's degrees in mathematics and Spanish from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University.

Bio
At NASA's Johnson Space Center, Menon served as an International biomedical flight controller, coordinating with station crews and medical teams from . She later joined SpaceX, where she helped develop crew operations for Dragon and Starship and served as a mission director and crew communicator for human-spaceflight missions.
Menon flew aboard Polaris Dawn in September 2024 as and medical officer. She monitored crew health and supported research and cabin operations while Dragon reached an altitude of 1,408 kilometers and the mission conducted the first commercial . NASA selected her for its 2025 astronaut-candidate class, beginning a two-year training program at Johnson Space Center.
