Ali AlQarni
Ali AlQarni is a Royal Saudi Air Force fighter pilot and Saudi astronaut who flew on Axiom Mission 2. His 2023 flight made him one of the two Saudi crew members who returned the kingdom to human spaceflight after the 1985 STS-51-G mission.

Bio
AlQarni graduated from King Faisal Air Academy with a bachelor's degree in aeronautical sciences. He served as an F-15SA pilot in the Royal Saudi Air Force before his astronaut assignment.
Saudi Arabia and Axiom Space selected AlQarni for Ax-2 with biomedical researcher Rayyanah Barnawi. He launched aboard Crew Dragon Freedom with Peggy Whitson and John Shoffner, reached the ISS on May 22, 2023, and supported science and outreach activities during the mission.
His record treats Axiom Mission 2 as the flown transport mission and keeps the ISS visit described inside the card, avoiding a separate card for a short private astronaut mission.
