Alexander Misurkin
Alexander Alexanderovich Misurkin is a retired Russian Air Force major and cosmonaut who flew three Soyuz missions. His career included two long-duration ISS and a later short-duration commercial Soyuz visitor mission.

Bio
Misurkin trained through Kacha and Armavir military aviation schools and graduated as a pilot-engineer with a gold medal. He was selected as a cosmonaut candidate in 2006 and qualified as a test cosmonaut in 2009.
His first mission, Soyuz TMA-08M, used a fast profile to reach the ISS in under six hours. He later commanded Soyuz MS-06 and served as of Expedition 54. In 2021 he commanded Soyuz MS-20 with private spaceflight participants Yusaku Maezawa and Yozo Hirano.
Misurkin performed four totaling about 28 hours, 14 minutes, including a record-setting Russian spacewalk in 2018. He retired from active cosmonaut status after a career that spans ISS expedition work and private spaceflight operations.
