Alexander Sergeyevich Grebenkin is a Russian cosmonaut and Air Force technical officer who flew to the International on SpaceX Crew-8. His first spaceflight placed a Roscosmos cosmonaut inside the rotation system.

Bio
Before joining the cosmonaut corps, Grebenkin served in technical and operational units of the Russian Air Force. He trained in radio-electronics and aviation equipment operations, later holding technical leadership roles in Russian military aviation units.
Roscosmos selected Grebenkin as a cosmonaut candidate in 2018. He trained with the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center and was later assigned to Crew Dragon operations under the ISS seat-exchange arrangement.
Grebenkin launched on SpaceX Crew-8 in March 2024 and served aboard the ISS through 70, 71, and 72. He returned in October 2024 after 235 days in space.
