Aleksandr Stepanovich Viktorenko
Aleksandr Stepanovich Viktorenko was a Soviet and Russian Air Force officer and cosmonaut whose four missions made him a central Mir-era . He flew during the station's early expansion, routine long-duration operations, and international visiting-crew period.

Bio
Viktorenko trained as a military pilot and joined the cosmonaut corps in 1978. His career developed alongside the shift from Salyut stations to Mir, when Soyuz-TM crews were learning how to support modular station operations over longer periods.
His first mission, Soyuz TM-3 / Soyuz TM-2 in 1987, was a short Mir visiting flight. He then commanded Soyuz TM-8 in 1989-1990 and Soyuz TM-14 in 1992, accumulating deep experience in Mir station systems and international crew operations.
Viktorenko's final flight was Soyuz TM-20 in 1994-1995 with Yelena Kondakova and Ulf Merbold. Across four missions he spent more than 489 days in space and completed six totaling 19 hours, 39 minutes.
